The Library provides access to a vast amount of information typically found in scholarly and popular journals, magazines, newspapers and other information sources. Most of this information is available electronically, but some is only available in print or on microfiche / microfilm.

Using the Collection

Electronic copies of articles, etc., can be read online and in some cases downloaded. Use your University ID and password for off-campus access. Print and Microfiche / Microforms are on the third floor. To check out materials take items to Book Checkout & Pickup Desk

Microfiche / Microfilm

Microfiche and Microfilm contain miniaturized images of pages from printed text such as archival documents, newspapers, magazines, journals, and books which can be read using a special reader.

Finding

Search using the Library Catalog Journal Search.

Titles with location: “Microfiche/Microfilm 3rd Floor” can be found in the 3rd Floor cabinets.

Titles with the location: “Click to Request microfilm” must be requested from the LRS and picked up at the Book Checkout & Pickup Desk.

Readers

Microfiche / Microfilm readers that can also scan to USB and print are located on the 3rd Floor.
